Overview

This one-day VIRTUAL symposium designed for the primary care provider will address some common issues confronted in their daily practice, including several sessions on ENT-related issues like ear infections, tonsils/adenoids and tongue tied infants. Other topics are CBC abnormalities, regnizing child neglect, the benefits of pelvic floor therapy to improve certain medical conditions, vaccine hesitancy and making sure your practice is prepared for a medical emergency.

Apply current evidence-based guidelines and consensus recommendations to the evaluation and management of common pediatric conditions.
Incorporate emerging evidence and new therapeutic approaches into clinical practice when supported by the literature and patient circumstances.
Employ communication techniques that enhance shared decision-making and collaboration among patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Implement strategies to identify and mitigate barriers to care that contribute to disparities in pediatric health outcomes.
