Pediatric Pearls: Nutrition Across the Spectrum (12/11/2026)

Overview

This one-day VIRTUAL symposium designed for the primary care provider will address nutrition impacted by disease as well as general nutrition concerns that the patient/family may have. Topics such as infant nutrition, malnutrition, FAD diets, gut/brain connection, nutrition for celiac patients, considerations for the obese patient, plant-based diets and food insecurities in high-poverty areas.

Objectives

Apply current evidence-based guidelines and consensus/expert recommendations to the evaluation and management of pediatric nutritional disorders, including malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and disease-related nutritional complications.
Assess the range of newly available infant formulas in the United States and identify clinically relevant differences in composition and formulation compared with standard U.S.-produced products
Implement strategies to identify and mitigate barriers to optimal nutrition, including social determinants of health, that contribute to disparities in pediatric growth and health outcomes.
