2020 Summer Series – Influenza & Covid-19

Administering influenza vaccines and preparing for viral season is essential in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This educational course the epidemiology of pediatric influenza, indications, strain coverage, influenza treatment and prophylaxis, and testing utilization in the setting of COVID-19. Lurie Children’s enterprise wide flu vaccine administration plan is highlighted. Primary care at Lurie Children’s shares plans for administering the flu vaccine and preparing for sick visits.
