Target Audience

This educational course is designed for healthcare professionals who are interested in recognizing, assessing, and treating common mental health problems in young pediatric patients.

 

Objectives

At the end of this lecture, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the cognitive-behavioral model of mental health
  • Describe the contextual factors in mental health problems
  • Use cognitive, behavioral and contextual factors as leverage to treat and prevent mental health problems
