The COVID-19 pandemic impacted how patients and families access health care services. Routine childhood immunizations is affected by these turbulent times. This educational course dives into childhood immunizations and vaccine-preventable illnesses and how community-based pediatric providers can ensure their patients stay current on the CDC’s vaccine schedule. As a result of this session, attendees will understand the scope of the problem of missed and delayed vaccinations due to COVID-19, catch-up doses on individual vaccines, pragmatic solutions to promote vaccination, and plans for the upcoming influenza season.
