The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many facets of life, particularly the daily routine of adolescents and young adults. This educational course is designed for community-based pediatric providers who are interested in guidance on how psychiatric disorders of prepubertal children persist into adolescence and present in the pediatric primary care setting. As a result of the session, attendees will be able to discuss the basic principles on coping with trauma and childhood onset conditions that persist into adolescence, the standard of care for the assessment and treatment of prepubertal onset psychiatric disorders, as well as adolescent onset conditions.
