Renee Manworren, APRN-CNS, PhD, is a pediatric clinical nurse specialist in the Division of Anesthesiology. She is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has a clinical interest in pain assessment and risk factors for challenging to control acute pain.

  • Explain fallacies of opioid risk assessment tools

  • Describe how drugs are tested for abuse libility liability

  • Analyze biomarkers and innovative assessments as potential indicators of opioid use disorder susceptibility
