Target Audience

This educational course is designed for healthcare professionals who are interested in learning about recognizing strokes in children and management, especialliy those patients that are at higher risk.

 

Objectives

At the end of this lecture, the participant will be able to:

  • Develop a heuristic approach to differential diagnosis when evaluating patients with non-infectious fever
  • Differentiate distinct periodic fever sysndromes on basis of key clinical features
  • Discuss the role of genetic testing in the diagnosis of periodic fevers
