Target Audience
This educational course is designed for healthcare professionals who are interested in learning about vaccinations especially for immunocompromised children.
Objectives
At the end of this lecture, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss relevant factors that determine which immunocompromised children should receive vaccines
- Review current guidelines for ACIP, IDSA and AAP for vaccinating immunocompromised children
- Discuss, using a case-based format, the most freqiently encountered scenarios for pediatric providers when vaccinating children with immunocompromised conditions
