Target Audience

This educational course is designed for healthcare professionals who are interested in learning  about the latest in e-cigs, vaping and marijuana use and risks.

 

Objectives

At the end of this lecture, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss the basic facts on vaping and e-cigarettes
  • Identify adverse health effects of e cigs/vaping on patients with asthma
  • Advise teens on reasons why vaping is bad for them
  • Describe the effects of prmary and secondary exposure to marijuana
  • Discuss the terminology in discussions about marijuana
  • Discuss the cannabis and allwergen cross reactivity
